Studio Le Roy works with a carefully assembled team of assistants and hosts. Each member has been selected from leading institutions such as the HKU University of Arts Utrecht, the Abbey Road Institute Amsterdam, and various European conservatories. All assistants meet the same high standards in musical knowledge, customer service, problem-solving ability, and respect for your privacy.
Ruben Bos
Recording & Assistant engineer
Ruben (2002) graduated from the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht in Music and Technology. Starting as an intern and growing into a studio engineer, he gained hands-on experience in both the technical and creative aspects of studio work. As an engineer, he loves to guide the process from idea to finished track and helping artists shape their sound.
Passionate about hybrid recording methods and tape, Ruben combines technical expertise with artistic vision to create music. In addition to his work in the studio, he is developing his career as a live mixing engineer.
Marijn Feijen
Assistant engineer
Marijn (2005) is an audio engineer, producer and artist based in Rotterdam. He is currently studying Music and Technology at the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. Within this program, he specializes in Studio Techniques/Live Audio and Sound Design.He is currently broadening his knowledge of studio production at Studio Le Roy, where he is completing his internship.
His drive stems from a broad interest in all forms of music and sound, and the process of recording them. He is not solely focused on the technical aspects; he also enjoys contributing to the conceptual framework of the music when necessary.
In addition to his work in the studio, he is developing his solo project named 'Denim’.
This is an experimental alternative rock project in which he channels his creativity and emotions.
